Indian Tofu Mushroom Curry

I don’t know about you, but Hungry and I love Indian food: the flavors, the different textures,  the unique combinations. In fact, it’s our most often ordered “take-out” or “take-away” as they say in New Zealand. What better to fill a grumbling tummy than a beautiful heaping plate of curry, rice, and naan? I’m drooling just thinking about it. SO when we had a block of tofu that needed using, I decided to go with an Indian style dish. It’s easy, it’s delicious, it’s nutritious: our favorite three. We hope you enjoy this Indian Tofu Mushroom Curry–inspired by Honest Cooking.

What Are Macros?

These days the word “macros” gets thrown around all the time–heck, we say it tons. But sometimes we take things for granted–for example, in a very real world, many people don’t know what “macros” are. You might know that it has something to do with nutrition, eating, or something of the nature–basically what fitness people like to talk about. In this video, Hungry explains what “macros” are in a great definition and gives some context to the word.

How to Like Greek Yogurt

I’ve been there. I’ve been handed my first Greek yogurt (it was the new magical thing), I’ve dug my spoon into the yogurt with anticipation, and I’ve stuck my tongue out with disappointed disgust. For me, at least, Greek yogurt was not a love at first sight. It was a hill to climb to enjoy it. The thickness, the sourness–it was hard to get down. I’m pretty sure I made a retching sound and handed it back to whoever gave it to me in the first place. Not dramatic at all. Why am I telling you this? Because now I love Greek yogurt! I got there because it’s full of protein and it’s a great part of my nutrition. And you can too. Follow these 5 steps.

Q&A: Can I Drink Milk and Have a 6-Pack?

In this video, Hungry answers a question about whether you can drink milk and get a nice six-pack. Everyone is different when it comes to dieting, exercise, and body changes, of course, but he explains what he has done his whole life, and what you could do. He supports milk, but he also offers up other options for those who are really struggling with getting that highly-desirable six-pack.

Fuel Your Adventures

What are summers for? Adventures. Beach-bumming, camping, road trips, cookouts, picnics, backpacking, and so on. Are you getting excited yet? I am. Tastes of grilled cheeses, s’mores, sangria, burgers, and ice cream. Now, you must be getting excited. Summer adventures are the best: the remaining shades of sunburn on your skin tingling as the sun dips down into nightfall where family and friends galore get together for some grub. Everyone has their own summer dream and that’s what’s fun about it: with everyone’s differing ideas, you get to experience a little of everything.

Neuro: Drink with a Purpose

Sleep. Bliss. Sonic. Daily.

You wouldn’t typically think of these words when you’re thinking of beverages. Sure, there might be a few drinks that relate to one of those words, but no more than that. There is one exception though… neuro. You’ve probably seen it before in those vibrant colored bottles with an interesting shape to say the least.  Neuro’s relationship to these words could be the result of them being right there on the bottle as you’re drinking, or there might be a deeper and more meaningful reason.
