5 People to Follow for Quarantine Workouts

We know that it has probably been really challenging for you to adapt to major changes since this pandemic really took off. Some of us are more impacted than others, but most of our readers from major cities don’t have access to gyms because of mandated closures. That is, however, no excuse to let you goals and level of fitness fail. There are countless trainers out there, who can’t work right now, making amazing content for both their followers and the rest of the public. Here are a few that have been putting out amazing workouts with little to no equipment, for even longer than the quarantine.

  1. Ross Enamait – We’ve linked Ross’ Instagram because it is his most active source of content, but there are two others places you should look. His blog has goes all the way back to 2007 and he also has a special on his book, Never Gymless, where you can download it for $1 right now. Ross trains just like the athletes (lots of boxers) that he coaches and provides extremely functional exercises. Sure, you can develop huge arms with lots of curls but why not do a ton of pull-ups on a tree branch instead? We love his grit and style. You won’t find anyone that embraces a “no excuses” mentality like Ross.
  2. Paul & Sandy Sklar – This super fit couple has really blown up recently after Paul has received a lot of attention in the media for being the ultimate silver fox, but don’t let their good looks fool you. Despite owning a training facility, these two put together grueling workouts by highlighting focused form and smart exercise combinations. Again, Instagram is the best way to follow their simple workouts, but don’t think that these simple workouts are easy.
  3. Adriene Mishler – Well before the pandemic, Adriene’s YouTube yoga routines have been a part of Alana’s workouts. I also love using them for my remote clients who need to work on flexibility, mobility, core strength, etc, etc, etc. Basically, yoga is amazing and Adriene’s style of teaching is very digestible and easily learned for beginners. She has over half-a-billion views on her main YouTube page alone, along with a complete library of workouts, but we’ve linked her popular yoga for beginners.
  4. Caleb Marshall – Also known as The Fitness Marshall, Caleb is another one of my go-to personalities when it comes to providing recommendations for remote workouts. Caleb first popped on my radar when a friend tagged me in THIS VIDEO when it came out about two years ago. His personality is fun and engaging, and his dance workouts are relatively easy to learn. It can be a great intro for dance workouts, which I find to be a fun full-body workout and most importantly, it is usually family friendly which can really help for those PE classes in quarantine.
