Our Most Anticipated Movies of 2019

2018 gave us movies like Black Panther, Solo: A Star Wars Movie, and Avengers: Infinity War. 2019 is no less epic and Hungry & Fit loves epic. In fact, at least for Fit, 2019 could be an even bigger year. We love movies. We are actually enrolled in AMC’s A-List program which allows three movies per week and only is around $20/month. Yeah, so if you see 1.5 movies a month, it’s worth it. And we aren’t sponsored by AMC–we just love the program. Anyhow, we love movies and we had a lot of fun creating our Top 5 Most-Anticipated Movies of 2019 list. Enjoy.

Hungry

5. Hobbs & Shaw. Being a huge fan of the entire Fast and the Furious franchise and add a focus of two of my favorite actors/role models (The Rock and Jason Statham), I’m guessing I will thoroughly enjoy this movie.

4. Avengers: Endgame. While I haven’t loved the entire MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), the Infinity Gauntlet arc is my favorite comic book story line. Plus, after seeing them soup up Thor in the Wakanda fight scene, I’m excited to see what else they have in store for him.

3. Aladdin. Arguably my favorite movie as a child, I couldn’t help but get goosebumps when I first saw the trailer. I’m always skeptical with live-action remakes of the animated classics, but my gut has a good feeling about this one.

2. Alita: Battle Angel. Surprisingly, I haven’t read any of the manga that this movie is based on, but I’ve always enjoyed James Cameron’s blockbusters. The newer trailers have really made this movie grow on me.

1. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to see a trailer in the theaters after having already seen the trailers for this one so many times. I’d love to see a fitting conclusion to a series that I never knew I needed.

Fit

5. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. One of the best series in the last ten years, this movie is sure to rise and soar. The soundtrack, the underdogs, the dragons–I can’t wait.

4. Aladdin. A childhood classic, I’m a bit wary of this one (for some reason, it hurts without Robin Williams), but all the same, it’s bound to be an adventure of one kind or another.

3. Avengers: Endgame. EPIC STUFF. I really enjoyed the last Avengers and how dang epic it was–smash together Wakanda, Osgard, and all the other crazy stuff, it doesn’t get better.

2. Lion King. My favorite Disney movie coming “to life” with an epic cast. I’m in.

1. Star Wars: Episode IX. Do I really need to say more? I can’t wait to see how the Skywalker saga ends, and who Rey and Kylo decide to be. Giggity.
