My First Time Eating Rally’s (Fast Food Review)

No matter how much disposable income you have, and whether you’re in the middle of a pandemic or not, you should never pay a meal delivery service for fast food.

The food you see below, which includes a large soda, two small ice cream treats, two basic burgers, some mozz sticks and a small serving of fries was nearly $35 including service/delivery fees and tips.

I also wouldn’t recommend this approach when you’re trying a place for the first time. I can’t recall ever eating at Rally’s or Checker’s, but a late night need for calories and an empty pantry forced my hand… and I made a bad choice. I didn’t realize that Rally’s values itself as more than McDonalds or Burger King, but doesn’t deliver. The bacon burger didn’t have bacon on it. The large fries were equivalent to other establishment’s small. They weren’t very good. I can’t fault them for delivering soggy fries, but the serving size and flavor were disappointing. Also, the ice cream treats were incredibly small for their price, but they tasted great.

Overall, I might stop in their drive thru for the ice cream Stacker if I was desperate, but I’d much rather pay half the price for McDonald’s food, which is just as good, if not better. I most likely won’t ever stop by Rally’s or Checker’s again, but at least I can say I tried it once.
