Snoring is something that a lot of people struggle with. It’s uncomfortable for those that sleep next to us or near us and it can also disrupt our own sleep. If you are struggling with snoring yourself then you are probably looking for a way to treat your snoring problem. There are different types of snoring and there are different things that cause it in the first place. It’s pretty hard to just tell what your snoring problem originates from because of it, and more people feel frustrated because of that. But let’s take a look at some ways in which you can deal with this problem and make sleep time better not just for yourself but also for the people around you who are struggling with your problem just as much as you.

5 Healthy Snacks to Have at Home
Here at the Hungry & Fit household, we know that what you put in your pantry is what you will put in your stomach. That’s why we typically don’t stock junk in the house. However, we are HUNGRY and Fit, and let me tell you, I get hungry very often. So, instead of yelling hangrily at Hungry, we always have a healthy stock of snacks at home. We go through lots of different snacks, but here are some of our favorites:

FriYAY Workout
We made it to Friday! I know some of us don’t have typical M-F jobs, but there’s still something about Friday that gets the happy dance going. We’re scooting through work with weekend plans on our mind and rejuvenation in our hearts. Maybe we have something scheduled for tonight–a party, a barbecue, an outing of some sort. We are looking forward to getting done with the day so we can embrace the weekend! But wait! What about a workout? A workout on a Friday?! Don’t roll your eyes at me. You don’t even need to go to the gym for this one. Just set aside twenty minutes (max) and do this before you get ready for your fun weekend. Get it done–at least one round, but why not three!

How to Balance Exercise with Work
Having a full-time job (does that ever actually mean only 40 hours a week?) and getting the proper amount of exercise in your week often don’t quite match up. Most times, the job gets the better of you and you either don’t have enough time in the morning or you’re too exhausted after work to get one in. We’d much rather plomp down on the couch than find some shred of willpower to get our body moving. We partnered with Quill to bring you this helpful infographic which shows you how to get exercise even with a hectic work schedule. If you click on it, there’s also a great article about it on their website.

New Projects on the Way
Hey Hungry & Fit World,
With everything that’s been going on around the world and in our lives, we’re trying to stay in positive spirits and have some fun. You know… make the best out of everything because that’s really the easiest way to be happy and healthy. We know that there has been a lack of content lately on the blog. That’s going to change quickly and to make sure we always have enough ideas, PLEASE, let us know what you want! You can either leave a comment below or send us a form of direct message.

Pilates Moves to Add to Your Routine
We know all about how the body is affected by sitting in a chair at work all day. We know how to counteract those negative effects and make you healthier and feel better! Pilates is a great way to un-crunch the body and soothe out kinks that may be creeping up on you. We love infographics too and that’s why we’ve brought on Woodside to show you how to make your life a little bit better. Use these exercises to stay hungry and fit!

Almond Butter Chocolate Protein Bites
This new year has been so busy already! However, I’m finding more time for creative outlets, like: cooking, baking, recipe-trying, writing, and such. It provides such a great counterbalance to the other stresses of life. Being creative helps relieve that tension, burden, and stress…at least for me it does. Hungry and I have been doing a tough if not repetitive program for the whole month of January (more to come on that later) and we need all the protein we can get to help our poor muscles rebuild each day. I follow the Minimalist Baker and was inspired by one of her recipes found here. Although this recipes differs from her original, it has the same base ingredients. I wanted something easy to pop in the mouth while still getting good nutrition. So, I came up with almond butter chocolate protein bites, and I’m really trying not to eat them all in one go. The ingredients are simple and the macros are great. They are a touch sweet with wonderful texture and you know you’re eating something healthy!

Holiday-Inspired Workouts
You’re sad the holidays are over. I am too. It was with much regret that we put away the holiday decorations and I stopped playing Christmas music. At least it’s still a bit chilly out to keep everyone in the winter spirit! To keep you holiday-inspired and feeling festive, we would like to share a workout infographic from Fix, a fun lifestyle blog. This particular article was written by Katy Widrick. It may be cold out, but you can still get your workout on using the exercises below!
