You may have noticed that we have been pretty MIA over here at Hungry & Fit. Well, we moved, we went on a trip, and were just pretty darn busy. However, we’re back! Here’s a little photo jumble to show you what we’ve been up to. And as always, stay hungry and fit!

Field Day 2016 in Pictures
If some of you remember, every year, my family goes camping. We do this for “Field Day“–a Ham Radio contest to try to get as many contacts on the radio as possible (cool, right?). Each year has its own experiences, but it’s always nice to get out into the wilderness. Enjoy!
Fit’s Bachelorette Camping Trip in Pictures
Three of my great friends, Dani, Jamie, and Robyn, organized a bachelorette trip for us to go camping! It was everything I needed: relaxing, active, and stress-free. It was so nice to escape the madness of prepping for the wedding and hike, go to the beach, and laugh. We even saw whales…TWICE! If that’s not a good omen, I’m not sure what is. Dani’s pictures are also sprinkled in here (they’re the nice ones and the group shots). Enjoy!
Our Split Week(End) in Pics
This past week, Fit went to Iowa to celebrate her Grandpa’s 90th birthday (yes, wow!) and Hungry stayed home, being a single dad.

Execute, Don’t Just Dream!
This was an article that I started drafting back on August 25, 2015, at 11:30 am after reading the article that I mention below. Unfortunately, I never completed it. Fortunately, as I was looking at the draft I realized that this might be the best time to publish it. Since this is the beginning of the year and we’re all so busy focusing on what we did and didn’t do in 2015 and what we will do in 2016, I want to encourage you to pursue your dream… or any other ridiculous ideas that might actually work.
Our Epic Birthday Week(end)
First off, this post is super picture heavy. Second off, we want to thank everyone who made our birthdays special. You know who you are and we are ever grateful! It means a lot to have those we care about care about us as well. Chris turned 27 and Alana turned 25–woohoo! We had a lot of fun. For Alana’s exact day, her coworkers took her out for lunch and her family took her out for dinner at a Mexican joint that was delectable. For Chris’ exact birthday, we were in Disneyland! We decided awhile ago that we would spend our “birthday weekend” (since our birthdays are four days apart) at Disneyland–two nights stay over and tons of fun and relaxation. It was really amazing just to not be stressed: to spend money carelessly (thanks to gift cards), eat what we wanted, sleep in until whenever, and just be happy like kids. Again, thank you to EVERYONE who made our days special. And as always, stay hungry and fit!
Our Last Few Weeks in Pics
We’ve had a lot of fun the past few weeks–but a lot of our pictures are from the annual Field Day camping trip! Enjoy!
