Impossible Burger, but Taco Tuesday!

There isn’t too much to be said here. Ground meat, or ground fake meat in this case, is one of the most versatile ingredients in the kitchen. In the UK, they call it mince and it is the base for so many delicious recipes. It seems counter-productive to make mince out of already formed patties, but it works! It is far from Impossible!

Every marriage is a work in progress, and different couples deal with different issues that are unique. And while all partners are faced with different problems, no one gets into marriage for divorce. However, as time goes by and people get used to each other, there are some things that couples can’t fully agree on. With time, it strains their union. However, sometimes you might not notice how bad your situation is, and by the time you do, it is too late. That said, the following are some of the signs of a strained marriage.

We’re Back!

We started this blog in August of 2012. It has been a real roller coaster ride ever since the beginning. I can’t remember the last time we went over a month without publishing an article. Sometimes, we don’t find the time to create our own work, but we maintain a steady stream of posts through partners and guests. That wasn’t the case this past month, but we’re glad to be back. Where did we go?

How to Speed up a Mac: 10 Top Performance Tips and Tricks

A Mac can bring some serious computing power to the table for your daily and occupational needs. But not every model is supercharged with the latest components. And, unlike PCs, you can’t easily upgrade your Mac if it’s not getting the job done.

Buying Exercise Equipment for Home (During Quarantine)

We’ve been getting tons of questions about this lately. People who work out every day at the gym are stuck at home without equipment and don’t want to lose their progress. With no end in sight for the quarantine, especially in order to combat poor eating habits at home, people are trying to put together home gyms in order to maintain their progress, or prevent gaining fat/losing muscle mass. There are a few challenges though…

  1. They don’t know what equipment to buy.
  2. They don’t know what brand/model to buy.
  3. They don’t know where to buy it.
  4. Many companies are backordered.
  5. Local markets (Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up, Let Go, Craigslist) are all home to price gouging.

This video on YouTube will help you with some recommendations/tips for cardio equipment at home. To summarize part of it, look for less commercial pieces that don’t have a ton of moving parts or electronic components, such as a Schwinn Airdyne or Indoor Cycling Bike, such as the ones we have (below) in our home gym.

WE GOT CHICKENS!

We got chickens. It is late. I’m tired. It is dark outside. We don’t have any good pictures, but I’m too excited and needed to make this announcement. We added four hens to the family.  More info coming tomorrow! Here is a teaser picture. Stay hungry and fit!

We’re Getting Chickens!

A few weeks ago, before the pandemic really took off, we were dealing with some really stressful times. My computer stopped working. A delivery driver hit the side of our house. Both of our cars stopped working. It was the perfect storm, before this actual perfect storm. As soon as I replaced the starter in the CR-V and had it working again, we hooked up a U-Haul trailer and drove out to Thibodaux... to pick up a chicken coop… for chickens!
