Job Openings in the Swimming Industry

The American Swimming Coaches Association sent all of their coaches an email recently in an effort to try to fill some vacancies for Swim Outlet’s Fitter and Fast Tour. This project is top-notch and travels across the country to provide the highest quality clinics of swim instruction to anyone interested. It’s a huge benefit for experienced swimmers and beginners, and while it focuses on youth, coaches and whole community benefit from its presence.

There are three full-time positions available with benefits and all. There are also some part-time positions available for anyone who is entering the aquatics community or already has a small role as a coach. While these positions are managerial in the areas of accounts, marketing, and sponsorship, it would be far more beneficial for them to have someone with experience in aquatics, especially competitive swim.

Since we have some swim coaches and aquatic enthusiasts that follow our blog, I wanted to share this opportunity with you. I know a lot of our readers have a positive attitude, value the community, and can communicate well. Some of the other important qualifications include knowing how to solve problems, having a go-get-it mentality, and also putting the customer first. You know how much we stress customer service

As for the event managers at the clinics on the weekends, they’re looking for individuals in the Maryland area. That means all of you former Loyola swimmers that I used to compete against would be perfect. I know a lot of MAAC school alumni that moved further south to that area to avoid the really cold New York weather and high living expenses, so this one is for you as well. Not to mention everyone in the DC or Baltimore area.

If you’re interested or know someone qualified who is, check out this link. Also, if you’re just a swimmer or have a child who is one, check out the clinic list on the left side. As I mentioned, this tour provides some of the highest quality clinics available and the coaches are top-notch. Swimming is one of the few exercises you can really do for your whole life so learning how to do it properly at a young age is a key factor in staying hungry and fit.
